Harmony’s POV:

It was moments like these that made Harmony Fabray-Berry remember why she loved her girlfriend.  She was glad she had let Sugar talk her into singing together in the talent show.  She was a little hesitant, especially since both of their pairs of moms would be their.  She wasn’t scared of her mom and mama, because she’d performed for them hundreds of times.  It was Sugar’s moms, Brittany and Santana Pierce-Lopez that made her nervous.  She’s met them; how could she not have?  They were friends with her moms and since she and Sugar had been dating for a few months, it was well past the “meet-the-parents” phase of their relationship.  Brittany was always really nice to her, but she still wasn’t sure about Santana.  My moms had told me about her and Brittany’s rocky start and I think she’s just worried I’ll hurt her daughter.  But I could never do that.  As we sang “Take Me or Leave Me”, I became lost in the music and Sugar’s hilarious dance moves.  I couldn’t keep my eyes off of her, nor could I hide the smile I was giving her.  As the song ended, I took Sugar’s hand and smiled at her.  We faced the audience and bowed, and I then noticed our four moms sitting in the front row, giant smiles on their faces.  Santana gave me a nod and I knew that I could finally breath; she had the approval of the toughest mom out there.  Harmony leaned over and kissed Sugar’s cheek, making the girl blush, but she squeezed her hand in response, making Harmony smile soften.

“I love you,” she whispered in Sugar’s ear.

Sugar smiled and whispered back, “I love you too.”  The shared a soft kiss before heading off stage, their fingers intertwined and Harmony’s thumb caressing the top of Sugar’s hand.
